New Steine is considered to be one of Brighton’s premier
seafront garden squares. Regency town houses frame the central
pretty gardens, with the southern end providing the spectacular
backdrop to the sea. In addition to its beauty, New Steine
is easily accessed from the main Brighton sea road, Marine
Parade. This conservation area, with its cluster of well
maintained hotels is picturesque by day as well as by night,
when each hotels’ individual illuminations complement
the wrought iron period lamp-posts.
From its very central position, all of Brighton’s
attractions and amenities can be reached on foot. From Sea
Spray’s entrance steps you can see Brighton’s
famous pier. Just before you reach it you’ll find
the Sea Life Centre - one of the oldest in Britain - whilst
Brighton’s beach is a stone’s throw away.
