Listen to Cyndi Lauper’s latest record Memphis Blues and you’d think she was definitely born in Mississippi rather than in New York’s Queens.
Her music is full of jazz standards by artists such as Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson, Memphis Slim and Albert King. In addition, she invited BB King to help bash them into shape. Charlie Musselwhite, too, played harmonica.
The results have given the American, of Italian and German descent, her highest US Billboard chart (number 26) since 1986’s True Colours. A must for every music lover!
So come to Brighton and enjoy a fantastic night with Cyndi Lauper on June 28! The tickets cost £33.50. Sea Spray’s staff wish you a great musical night!
