The Actually Gay Men’s Chorus will be presenting their Christmas show, ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas’ at St Andrew’s Church on Thursday, December 22.
This year’s event will feature the first public performance from the new and long awaited Actually Gay Women’s Chorus, which in the short time it has been formed, has generated considerable interest.
A magical evening of seasonal songs, and traditional carols, sung in four part harmony and guaranteed to capture both the wonder and celebration of Christmas is promised.
There will be plenty of opportunity for the audience to join in with both the singing and the celebration. The performance will be conducted by Jason Pimblett.
This Christmas will be especially busy for the chorus, as many of its members are also signed to Universal Records and perform as Brighton & Hove Gay Men’s Chorus.
They will be involved in national publicity to promote their historic first album, released on December 5.
‘Twas the night before Christmas’ will be the only opportunity to hear them sing as part of Actually Gay Men’s Chorus and St Andrew’s Church will be the only venue in Brighton and Hove to see them perform this Christmas.
Tickets are available from:
Or from The Iron Duke Hotel on Waterloo St and Prowler on St James Street. £10 no concs, general admission aged 10+.
The concert will be raising money for Broken Rainbow and Sussex Pet Rescue.
