The Selecter Featuring Pauline Black and Gaps Hendrickson
The Selecter, having once been described as conspiring to make dancing the only way to walk, are back with a new album and an exciting tour across Britain. Having first formed in 1979, their music gave a voice to youths during the early Thatcher years. They led the ska revival movement alongside 2-tone label mates, Madness and The Specials. Their eclectic mix of punk, ska and reggae attracted fans disaffected with society and the racial divide.
Reuniting the original charismatic duo, the female icon of the 2-tone era Pauline Black and the stylish Gaps ‘De Killa’ Hendrickson, they are sure to please both new and old ska fans with classic hits like ‘On My Radio’, ‘Three Minute Hero’, ‘Missing Words’ & ‘Too Much Pressure’.
