Each month at the Brighton Dome’s Pavilion Theatre, we present some of the finest breaking musical talent that the city has to offer plus a headlining set from one of Brighton’s best and most established bands.
Wednesday 16th March, 8pm (doors 7.30pm)
They are one of the most intense live bands in the UK. They are leopard print, tiger stripe and velour. They are buzz-saw guitars, bone-shattering bass and balls-deep drums. They are heavenly trumpets and hellish trombones. They are rough-as-sandpaper beats with smooth-as-silk vocals. They have a new live EP available in April from their website, with a UK and European tour to follow. They are from Brighton.
They are… Mean Poppa Lean
With support from indie-rock-funksters Half Crown and ska-rockers Loose Edge including Doug Hayman in the bar.
