Brighton to once again host the South Coast’s biggest music event and the final festival of the year on Saturday 28th September 2013; Stanmer Park

For local boys Rizzle Kicks it will be a massive homecoming show. As well as performing past anthems like Down with the Trumpets and Mama do the Hump, the Brighton duo will have a string of new hits from their second album, due out this summer.

Britain’s urban pop superstar Labrinth will join them on the main stage which is hosted byDrinkinbrighton.co.uk. Fresh off his UK tour with Plan B and Rudimental, he already has an array of huge hits, such as Pass Out, Let the Sunshine, Earthquake, Last Time and number 1 single Beneath Your Beautiful.

DJ Fresh will be playing with a full live band, performing all the colossal hits from his Nextlevelism album – Hot Right Now, Louder, The Power, Gold Dust and The Feeling.

Also on the main stage will be Maverick Sabre (I Need), Delilah (Time), Mikill Pane (Good Feeling) and the legendary Jaguar Skills. Plus, Jacob Plantis back to play again this year. In 2012 he produced a track called Shakedown especially for the festival and in January he released it on Calvin Harris’ label Fly Eye.

After two storming years, popular demands sees the return of Radio 1 legend Zane Lowe. There will also be a huge RAM Records takeover – 4 hours with 4 DJs.

With more acts to be announced from the Main Stage and Supercharged Arena, plus the reveal of the newHouse & Future Bass Arena expected later in March, Shakedown is already shaping up to be the ultimate summer closing party in Brighton.
