From April 8th 2013, a new Sand Sculpture Festival will be held at Black Rock Brighton. Throughout March and April this year, over 20 world class artists will turn thousands of tonnes of sand into an exhibition never seen before and never to be forgotten
For seven years Black Rock has been standing desolate. But now, the team that creates the popular sand sculpture festival in Weston-super-Mare will transform this part of the sea-front and give it a new lease of life, and is expecting to welcome over 100,000 visitors from across the UK.
From this April until the end of September visitors can experience the wonder of this magical art and will also have the chance to get involved. Sand sculpture workshops, live demonstrations, guided tours, unique photo opportunities, a children’s sand pit, café and much more will be on offer to all.
Black rock is only a short stroll from Sea Spray.
